Indian pin-up

Yes it is that swimsuit again. I paired it with these autmnal colours to bring it into the chillier months. I love the way the hues of the seaweed in the background accent the tones in the outfit. Topped off with a headscarf, heavy eyebrows and a bindi for that popular look 50s-pin-up-with-an-Indian-twist. You know the one.

Indian summer

 

Making the most of the last of the lovely weather, although I'm hoping that because of the red sky and delighted shepherds that all the meteorologists were wrong and the sun continues to shine for a few days; at least until my next day off! If I'm wrong about the weather I'll just have to treat myself to a sauna and steam to show off this gorgeous swimsuit. Love the backless design and I'm so happy it fits so well!

Partly did these pictures to secure my 10% off deal with 9 crow street but also because I knew the swimsuit would make beautiful pictures. I layered on the gold jewellery (again) to bring out the rich colours of the swimsuit. Love the background of rugged rocks and glistening water at Old Head. I really haven't visited the beach enough this summer, which is ridiculous as it's five minutes away from my house! I sort of forgot how beautiful it was until today, and now can't wait to go back!

Just got this absolute BEAUT on http://www.9crowstreet.com, a lovely vintage shop in which I used to spend all my money in Dublin. How thoughtful of them to move online so I can continue to do so :) I know I'm broke again but I couldn't not buy it. I'm going to Spain in about 6 weeks anyway and since it's a one off vintage piece I had to get it then and there. Who cares if I'm going somewhere that's 360 miles from the sea, I need this swimsuit! Probably. I promise I'll be good, starting tomorrow.

More clashing prints, bright colours and stacked jewellery with lots of animal print! I love this OTT look for summer, it's so fun and easy to do if you literally just pile on everything you own in a similar colour scheme. I've always loved wearing loads of jewellery so I really enjoyed doing these pictures and the 'Back Garden Paradise' ones.

The patterned bikini top is from monsoon, and I wore a leopard print bandeau bra underneath it from Topshop. The pants are New Look and jewellery has been accumulated over the years.
