Seville

Some very old pictures from when I was in Seville in November. It was an amzing city, and one of the most beautful places I've ever visited. We only got a couple of days so I'd love to go back!

goodies.

Gogo Philip hoop earrings
ASOS gold choker
ASOS turtle neck body

ASOS high waisted black jeans
Vila boyfriend jeans
For some reason I've always hated turtlenecks and the people who wear them. Now I'm not sure if I'm delerious from exams, or if I just do not have the power to resist a trend, but I've been desperately wanting one for some time now. My first exam was yesterday, and I wanted to treat myself to some retail therapy today. Feeling too lazy to go into the city, I decided to have a little look online. Everything I wanted without even getting out of bed or having to speak Spanish to annoyingly slow sales assistants- why don't I do this more often!? Even better, ASOS have an amazing 48 hour deal at the minute: 25% off for students until 9am tomorrow, so hurry and get your fix before it's over! Also their free shipping gets me every time. I went a little overboard, but these are all things I need*. Expect some upcoming (possibly 90s themed) outfits with these beauties.

red boots

Just some of the lovely clothes I accumulated over christmas. Thanks to my sister Sarah for the pictures, but apologies for the camera phone quality, I didn't have my camera with me!

second hand jacket, a present from my Grandmother // second hand jumper, an old one of my dad's // mango black velvet shorts // primark bag and shoes

I love my new red shoes, and I can't believe how cheap they were, only £8 in Primark! I know the quality is rubbish but I will wear them until they disintegrate.

back to black

Apologies for the lack of posts recently but I did spend all of Christmas lounging in my pjyamas so there wasn't much to document. The time that wasn't spent in sleep wear I was dressed head to toe in black, so this is a pretty accurate portrayal of my holidays. The beautiful cardigan was a present from my mother straight off my wish list, and the watch is from my sister. My moody expression and sudden taste for black and white pictures are due to a strained diaphragm, a side effect of a stupid attempt to keep my 'keep fit' New Year resolution by climbing a mountain.

belated birthday goodies

I got such a lovely surprise this morning when the postman rang the doorbell and told me there was a package for me. I ran downstairs in my pyjamas to see these lovely gifts that my friend Bronagh had sent me for my birthday! I love the pattern of the scarf, and the little orange clutch is perfect for adding a pop of colour to winter clothes! The little earrings are so cute as well- I love any jewellery!

I decided to wear all my new presents today; I couldn't wait! So I styled them with this lovely navy shirt dress from French Connection layered with New Look and second hand necklaces, an of course my trusty brown leather Zara boots.

Thanks Bronzie! :)

turquoise treasure

I was in Seville last weekend with my boyfriend, and got this lovely necklace in a sweet little market there. It was amazingly only €5 and is my new favourite piece of jewellery! The silver cuff is from Pull & Bear, and the sheer top is second hand.

Some pictures of Seville coming soon. It was quite warm there so the pics will be a little more colourful and summery than the outfits I've been posting recently!

dreamcoat

Ok never mind all that stupid stuff I said before, THIS is what I want, this beautiful wool cocoon jacket from Topshop is the coat of my dreams! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it in Vogue's piece on Winter White Accessories: the cut, the colour and the texture are all just too perfect. I wanted a coat in this shape last year but my winter coat was relatively new so it didn't happen. I'm still not sure if I'll be able to justify splashing out on this beauty but I can keep dreaming can't I?
